Short, because we collect almost nothing.
No analytics, no advertising pixels, no tracking. This page says what actually happens with anything you type here, in plain words.
Who we are
The Composer — a four-person studio based in Belgium, working across Europe. Reach us at hello@thecomposer.eu for anything on this page, including asking what we hold about you (usually: your emails to us, and nothing else).
What this site collects
Nothing, silently. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, and no third-party trackers on any page. We don’t know you visited unless you tell us.
The contact form
The form on the start page composes an email in your own mail app — nothing is sent to a server of ours until you press send in your own client. What you type is also drafted to your own browser’s storage so you don’t lose it; it stays on your device, we never see it, and it’s deleted when you send.
If you write to us, we keep the correspondence — that’s what email is. We don’t add you to any list, there is no sequence, and we don’t share or sell addresses. Ask us to delete a thread and we will.
The letter
If you subscribe to the letter, we hold your address for exactly one purpose: sending it. Every issue carries an unsubscribe that works on the first click.
Fonts and embeds
Fonts are served from this site, not from a font network. Pages embed nothing from third parties.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what we hold, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Since what we hold is almost always just your own emails, the honest answer to most requests is one mailbox search away: hello@thecomposer.eu.
